Thankfully, many people grew up knowing the love of their moms or mommies.
This is not always the case, however.
Maybe your mother or step-mother abused you, neglected you, or took credit for something wonderful you did.
Does it seem like your mother always becomes the center of peoples' focus even if you are the one having a special moment or day?

You may be dealing with a narcissistic egg-donor who is not fit to be labeled "mother."
